Roger Stewart - PADI Master SCUBA Diver Trainer/SDI Open Water SCUBA Instructor - Roger is our lead instructor and responsible for the training and SCUBA certifications at SCUBA-AZ. Roger received his Instructor training through Pro Dive in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, the number one Instructor Development school in the country.  There, he graduated 2nd out of a class of 22 Instructor candidates. In addition to Open Water Certifications, Roger is a PADI certified IDC Staff Instructor, CPR and First Aid Instructor, PADI, SDI and DAN Oxygen Provider Instructor, PSI certified Visual Tank Inspector, TDI certified Enriched Air NITROX Gas Blender and certified to teach many of PADI’s and SDI's top specialties including Enriched Air NITROX, Boat Diving, Solo Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Diving, Underwater Navigation, Wreck Diving, Night Diving, Digital Underwater Photography, Altitude Diving and Search and Recovery just to name a few.  In addition to his time instructing, Roger has had an opportunity to travel and enjoy recreational diving in some great locations including Cozumel Mexico, the Florida Keys, the Hawaiian Islands, the Coronado Islands and Catalina Island off the coast of California and in the Caribbean the islands of Roatan and Bonaire. In addition to his credits as a dive professional, Roger has also earned the rating of a Master SCUBA Diver which is the highest certification offered to Recreational Divers. Roger also spent several years volunteering with Pinal County Superstition Search and Rescue on several teams including assisting with training and serving as co-team leader for their Dive Team.
