SCUBA-AZ now offers PADI online eLearning! You can now take the class portion of your Open Water certification online, at your own pace, from anywhere! As soon as you are finished, we'll schedule your pool and open water dives and you are done! Simply click the yellow tank below marked "Payments", then choose the eLearning option when paying the Training Deposit. You will be emailed your eLearning instructions and certificate number and you are on your way. Of course we still offer private standard class training too if you prefer a class setting. The total price for training will be the same for either option. Simply choose the one that works best for you!

SCUBA Diving Lessons for an Open Water Certification are available for everyone 15 and older. There is also a Junior Open Water Certification for those between the ages of 10 and 15.

All of our training is through Private Instruction based on YOUR location and YOUR schedule, all for about the same price as regular classes through a local dive shop. See our FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) page for more details.

Open Water Diver prices include your PADI Open Water Diver Crew-pack (which contains your training manual & DVD, dive tables and personal dive logbook), the classroom instruction, confined water pool sessions AND the Open Water dives required to complete your certification. Many shops around Phoenix offer a discounted rate for the pool and classroom and then charge separately (and quite a bit more!) for the Open Water portion or try to sell you a trip somewhere to complete your certification. We offer this as an option, but not a requirement to become certified. Also included are the necessary BCD's, regulators, wetsuits, tanks and weights for ALL of the Open Water certification training sessions. Something else often charged separately for to complete the Open Water dive instruction. When you add it all up, you'll spend just about as much for group training as you will with us receiving Private SCUBA Instruction for you or your group.

The only items you need to provide are your own mask, booties, fins and snorkel and we can help you acquire these items if you wish as we have excellent relationships with several dive shops in town that offer us special discounted rates. Bring those items and a great attitude and desire for FUN and you're all set!
